It's a large mpg. The corkscrew happened at 1000 feet when the rocket 
hit a wind shear. Showed up nicely on the telemetry. We were shooting 
for 16,000 feet and Mach 1.4 according to the sims.

As to anvil launching ... there is a rocketry group that launches 16 
pound bowling balls annually as a competition. A tad scary as these guys 
have a rep for iffy recovery systems.

Just got in from 4 hours of forging. Draw and taper. and again and again 
and again ...

I love it.
