Learned about the fire part about 1995. Took up experimental rocketry.
In 2005 we launched a 14 foot tall, 120lb rocket to 12,000 feet on our
own motor. AN as the oxidizer, Magnesium as the fuel and HTPB as the
binder. The motor put out an average of 800 lbs of thrust for about 7
seconds. Lots of smoke and 25 feet of flame coming out the rear of the
rocket.

Someone a few days ago wondered if I was going to launch an anvil.
Hmmmmm.....
