   Sorry Frosty.  I don't have a picture.  I'll ask Tim where he got the design.
 It was 1/4 inch rod about 16 inchs long, simple loop on the handle end and a
coiled end where it sits in the fire, about 3 coils, 1 inch outside diameter. 
It was in a box of things that we picked up to sell for him.
  Our booth specializes in medieval camping/cookware/housewares.  We try to only
sell items that we can document and that were made by people we know.  Little or
no mass produced stuff.  We have a few items that did not exsist in period where
we have to make concessions to modern times and we occcasionaly sell an odd item
for a friend who doesn't have anywhere else to sell it.  One of items that we
sell alot of are called portable holes for holding up banner poles. Park
Rangers tend to get angry if 1500 people dig holes to hold up their banners.
