Thanks Dan -- I am in the same boat... not an expert, but I didn't
think my memories of growing up with sheep and goats (and my jersey
heifer) were that long-lost.  I agree they could still take off a
finger if so inclined, but the pad (hard gum area) is friendlier to be
"bitten" by that a pair of top & bottom teeth!
Maybe Frosty and Stephen have some local conditions which have caused
the animals to need & grow those extra teeth :)
