If you bend a piece of 1" pipe in a long arc and slit the ends, 
you can cut a cheap chunk of bandsaw blade to fit and silver 
solder stop pins at the end. That way you get a nice long stroke 
for faster cutting...at very low cost.
Just spring the pipe down, like stringing a bow, and insert the 
blade in the slots....pf
