Such a keyboard sounds great, but why can't it be
implemented using a standard keyboard and software.
At least three keys (shift, ctrl and alt) already can
be used in combination, and then there are the
function keys. To use other keys in combination might
require delving deeper into the OS, so keystrokes from
the keyboard are intercepted and reinterpreted.
Should be feasible.
