[TheForge] Any recommendations on cutoff saws? Brands, etc?

You're right Ron.

When I said it "looked" like a skill saw blade it was 
as opposed to a dry diamond or abrasive blade. I work 
for the State of AK. in Anchorage and while the guys at 
remote camps might get away with some pretty mickey 
mouse stuff it won't wash in Anchorage, or the other 
"big" (for Alaska) cities. On the other hand in the 
larger cities we have access, for a price, to the real 
thing and don't have to use field expedients very 
often.

If I gave anybody the impression it was okay to use a 
carbide wood saw blade on steel. DON'T! It's a BAD 
idea.
