[TheForge] Just watched the Mythbusters try to shatter hammers

I call these type folks Techno-nerds or Techno-hippies. They know just
enough to be able to dream and see the possibilities; but don't know enough
to be able to find out if it will work, or to be able to play with it
without danger<G>.

About half their episodes have what I consider a major flaw. But then over
the years, I have found that when talking with these type people about the
problems of a particular process, the entire time the other person is
arguing about the possibilities, and therefore there will be no success in
the effort for either side.

Choose the battles that are worth fighting, for you won't have time to fight
them all<G>.

All the Best

The bad metalurgy on this particular episode has me wondering if anyone
associated with the show knows anything about heat treating, or if they
were deliberately giving out misinformation to avoid lawsuits.
