[TheForge] A real Deal at HF- How about their pneumatic staple gun?

At the risk of being branded a heretic, I haven't had much luck with Harbor
Freight Chinese made stuff. But, since China already owns us, and it is
virtually impossible to "buy US", I may as well acquiesce and help China's
war effort. Has anyone tried the HF Staple Gun? At $20 I wouldn't expect it
to last as long as a Paslode or Senco but if it will make it through a
couple of projects.....The HF wood cutting band saw and cordless drill were
both junk- didn't even do one job. I will concede the $200 metal cutting
band saw seems to be pretty good. Not a Wilton or Ridged, but it works ok. I
guess you have to know which tools are a waste of money and which ones work
ok.

I have one of those. So far I have welded an 1 1/8" solid bar in the sheet
metal axle, replaced the tongue with two inch square tube, replaced the
cross bar that the rear end of the tongue attaches to with 3" by 3" by 1/4"
angle and put 90 PSI 2000 LB boat trailer tires on it.
I didn't do all of this at once. I have a 4' X 8' X 4 1/2' plywood box that
I loaded my reenactment blacksmithing equipment in. After hitting a pot hole

and bending the axle I added the bar stiffener.
After a sudden stop with that load I replaced the tongue. After the next
quick stop I replaced the cross bar. The tires happened one at a time after
flats. Now it is a pretty good trailer.
