The Smithsonian has an outdoor sculpture exhibit with some metal work. Most
all of the building in central DC have ordinate railings and outdoor light
fixtures. The national cathedral has a lot of Yellins work and would be
worth the cab fare to get there. Take lots of pictures because you will not
have time to sketch all of it. My last trip I took over 100 pictures just
inside the cathedral of metalwork.
