Mike,
Before you leave, maybe you can tell me if there is any way of dating this Mouse Hole. It is marked in hundred weight 0-3-21 (105#) and I think has a 3 on one foot. This is my first Mouse Hole and it seems clunky in proportions compared to my P.W. and Acme. The M.H. has a rather small-looking horn compared to the size of the body. It is rather primitive looking with obvious forge welds between the various segments of it.
Horn pointing toward Polaris, of course.
Aubrey

The technical term for this is "cringe" and is the anvil's response to
being used with the horn pointing in the wrong direction for many
years. Just palce a small magnet on the underside of the heel
oriented the other way and after a few decades it will.....
Um, sorry, I'll just be getting my coat....
