the 700 lbs is made up of 20 yrs of collecting cables and wires from
computers, telephone switches, burned out cellular sites, etc.

awg 0000 down to 32.

some of the insulation appears to be be rubber, other is vinyl, some
teflon, etc.

nearly all of it is stranded. very little is solid.
