Terry what gauge wire are we talking here? Some 20 years ago I thought it
would be neat to make chain mail for my horse. I was given a few 100' of
aluminum wire 1 and 0 gage wire. I took it slit about 2 feet hooked the wire
to a post and grabbed the insulation and just yanked it off it tears quite
easily or you could use a plane, or scraper build a striping jig.
