I think I will do that ! I have the soft bricks. I guess the hard ones 
would do better?
the resources around her are nil when it comes to forge material. The 
shipping would cost the
same as if  I drove the 200 miles to Portland, although it would give me 
an excuse to go to that
_HUGE_ book store. I forgot the name, but not the location.
Thank you for the input , I could put some photos up of the progress if 
anyone wants to see.
