The 3rd hammer at the conference was a Ang yang (SP) which is also a
nazel knock off like striker. He was the little tent next to the
Aussies

I also bought a 60kg hammer from Tom Clark the end of may. Really like
it compared to a little giant. Much more die clearance for top or top
bottom tooling. Tom's dies come with two holes that allow easy top
bottom tool insertion instead of the Clifton Ralph box clamp. Tom
recommended both holes for the top die and one hole for the bottom. I
have only made bark dies but they worked out excellently. Tom also uses
a kiss block on the bottom die when making the square shank for the
hardies he makes for his anvils. This allows him to take it to the
perfect size with ought a lot of grinding. Another good thing about
Toms hammer is it is 220 and plugs right into a welder plug

I also watched Toby Hickman's demo and have been practicing the 1/4 turn
between each hammer blow. I did tape the demo but not sure how good the
sound is. Heard a lot of gas forge noise at the event.

No forging here for a few days 100 degree and humidity.
