One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that it really helps to watch
someone else work. Things that you have read will fall into pace when you
see it done.

One of our "theforge" members is in charge of his group's vidio library and
offers Vidios and DVD's at a very reasonable price. The index can be viewed
at www.umbaonline.org.  I haven't gotten any but I'm sure that someone on
the list can recommend some that have good up close camera work and basic
projects to get you started.
