And we probably never spot half of them!  I spotted an anvil "ornament" at an old stable in Ocean Twp. being used for a flea market.  Seeing the place, I went looking for it.  There it was on an interior "courtyard", invisible from the road.  This one, however, wasn't worth worring about.  Needed edges repaired at least, maybe more.

In middletown NJ there is a nice HB painted gold, adorning the base of a 
flagpole.  In Carteret NJ, I know of at least four houses that have 
anvils as garden ornaments. They are all good anvils.
