The USPTO site is a good one by all means, though I wish the trademark
area was a bit better in terms of completeness. I used to use the
trademark gazette at the Engineering Societies library (NYC) and could
find anything I wanted. The library was closed several years ago,
unfortunately. I worked there as a kid and it was a great resource. I
used to love sitting in the stacks going through volume after volume on
various contraptions. They had every issue of Philosophical Magazine
(bound book) since its inception in the 15th or 16th century, and it
wasn't even in the rare collections area, which was under lock and key.
Regretfully, I never went in there to see what they had, but I bet
that they had
some really cool stuff.
