[TheForge] Patent servers?

What's this?  

You can search patents on the US Patent and Trademark office site.  A bit tedious, and you need to learn their classification system, but I dug out some interesting stuff on broomcorn threshers.  (Marshall and I are growing broomcorn on a hobby level - so far.)
