Yep! I've been using SKYPE for years as I live in Finland and chat
with friends and family in Australia. It's a really good system and
hasn't failed me yet. The inventor of SKYPE is the same inventor who
create Kazaa and Kazaa lite. For those of you that don't know it was
the European version of Napster. He felt that the technology is there
so why pay for it? Of course he has become a multi-millionaire for
this idea of "not paying" but hey, all good ideas have their faults!
I think the idea of skype is to cut out the middle men. The internet
is so good nowdays that you can bypass the telephone operators that
take a chunk everytime you pass along their wires. A great idea for
cheap communication! I totally recommend it!
