Mike,

I for one found your designs very useful; I'm using your 1" 
forge/furnace burner design in my forge, and it is quite effective.

My forge is a cast satanite in 11" of O2 cylinder.  The volume of it is 
about 190 cubic inches.  It reaches a useable saturated heat in about 20 
minutes at about 10 psi.   I peak out around a bright yellow.  No 
welding heat, tho.

I use a auto-darkening hood for my mig welding; a lincoln SP-135T.
