[TheForge] Need Coal

[Bob Willman]

	Several years ago there was a group of smiths from the central US
that was having coal delivered from a mine in West Virginia - very good
coal. We are getting it here in Northwest Ohio from a local dealer in 50lb
bags for $9.00 each. I don't know if the group near you is still involved or
not.

Stephen,

 A few years ago there was a lot of coal mining around eastern Kansas and
western Mo, (Fort Scott area). You might try Google or call the Fort Scott
Chamber of Commerce. I don't know the quality but I think it is bituminous.
I'll ask my pa-in-law about it also. Now the obvious; have you contacted
your nearest artist blacksmith assn?

Any sources with in 300 miles would be helpful, have tied
