They talk all these numbers of aid, in the millions, but how much gets to 
the people who need it? I don't know how much it costs to build a home down 
there (Construction cost), with out the material and fuel prices being 
gouged but I'm sure the people in charge get their offices and homes done 
first, then how much is left to actually help the people who lost their 
homes? How much of the money even gets near the people who need it?  How 
much is steered to outside favorite contractors?

The money collected by churches probably does more than the government 
promises. NYC got great promises after 9 - 11 but small business and home 
owners had a tough time getting a little and larger businesses with lawyers 
who could understand the paperwork got more. Then the kept reducing the 
amount after each ground zero photo op, which did the administrations, city 
state and federal well.
