See? You didn't even need higher math, simple arithmetic does fine. Good
thing too. I can do arithmetic. <grin>
Not a lot different here. It's been hanging in the below zero temps for the
last three weeks or better and while it hasn't gotten really cold, no letup
is starting to grind things down. Added to the often bad winters the cost
of living in Alaska is significantly higher than most places outside.
So, why stay? Cost of living and hassle may run 30-40% more than the lower
48 but my wages and bennies run close to 100% better. I also live
comfortably close to a decent sized city but still live in the forest with
no building codes, zoning, etc.
On balance I'm stylin. <grin>
