David,
I have typically welded silicon bronze with MIG and TIG. I have .0.30 and 0.35 wire and run it in my lil' ol' Lincoln WeldPak 155. Works great! REALLY NEED SPATTER GUARD though..... I use spray PAM.
Definitely torch brazes(welds) fine. Flux, flux flux....
