I was thinking some sort of restriction in the airline after the gauge 
and before the valves in the hammer. The filter in the line, if it is 
after the gauge might be such a place. Do you have the correct oil in 
the inline oiler?

Your shop is not cold enough that you could have ice crystals in the 
valves is it?
