[TheForge] several questions and thoughts

Hello Terry -

Good to see you posting again. I also am worried about the cost of
things. I have put all our fuel bills onto a spreadsheet for the last
several years. The electricity, and gas (LP) are on there since the turn of
the century. What I am seeing is that although the prices are going up
everywhere, the LP seems to go up last and lowest. And, it started out
lowest to begin with. We have paid on an average of 3cents per 1000 BTUs of
electricity and compare that to an average of 1cent per 1000 BTUs of LP.
This last year we are up to 1.35 cents per 1000 BTUs on LP. Now I am
starting to wonder if it would pay off to change my Miller Legend over to LP
and use it to generate electricity for the house.

   Any comments?

PS Sorry, but I haven't bought any coal recently for comparison.
