[TheForge] 4 & 1/2" grinders

I guess the Craftsman grinders on sale for $50 are a pretty good deal for
the $$. They are made in Taiwan like almost every thing else - It's
difficult to buy anything really made in USA. Press 1 to continue in
Chinese.

Riobi is about equal to Makita in durability. Their bearings are not as
good, so lubricate them every few months, but their triggers don't just die
at the drop of a hat.

I used a Riobi 4&1/2" grinder in our tire hammer build. It is ergonomic
because the handle & trigger switch are behind the motor. I really like
it
but again, will it last?

The first time I bought a chop saw it was a Riobi. Junk. Cured me of ever
buying that brand again. My buddy builds houses. He uses some of their
tools cause his crew will more than likely destroy or lose whatever they use

and they are cheap.
