Well said. But not by them :(
We're so found of nuking Hitler. I think the horrors of our little
adventure in SE Asia easily match uncle Adolph's for sheer evil value,
and is arguably worse. Far worse, in fact. At least the only thing to
span the earlier generation, other than the physical losses, were bad
memories and some tattoos. Plenty wrong there, no mistaking that... but
legions of deformed children and a savagely polluted environment... I'd
rate that as easily equal to Europe's legacy on it's best day.
Isn't it interesting how much press Hitler gets, but I don't hear too
much speak of what we did. Certainly nowhere near to the same degree.
Don't see much visual about the horrors of napalm and agent orange. I
wonder why that is.
