	Ow...

	When I was 14 or so, I was quite fascinated with thermit and napalm.  I 
made my own and used to blow up/incinerate stuff with it.  One day a 
small blob of burning napalm alighted upon the palm of my right hand. 
Having that much pain and not being able to make the burning mass let go 
of you is a study in penultimate frustration.  Burned a hole right to 
the first knuckle of the index finger.  I could actually see the tendon. 
  It took a long time to heal and I still have a slight hint of it in 
scar.  Taught me serious respect for all of that stuff and gave me a 
vivid sense of empathy for all those people in Viet Nam that survived 
the burns.  I'm not sure what sort of deranged mind would consider such 
things as weapons.  Huh?  Oh, right.  Never mind.
