Condolences and congratulations about the job Rich!
Other than I wouldn't mind a hand putting up my shop I don't actually have a
job for anybody.
You are however cordially invited for a visit, any time. Heck, everybody is
cordially invited for a visit.
If you all show up at once you're on your own though; Deb'll kill me!

Well, I do for the next 12 months, but they're phasing out the workshops at
my school and I don't want to work there anymore.
Not entirely a bad thing, of course, as it's an opportunity to evaluate what
I like about my current job, and what I don't, and to find something that
has more of the former and less of the latter.
One thing that is a possibility, of course, is to take the blacksmithing to
a more professional level. I've also always had a bit of a hankering to see
the real America, so I'm thinking - what about being a journeyman for a bit?
People regularly send messages to the list asking for work in return for
food/accomodation/pocket money, but do they ever get offered it, I wonder?
So, hypothetically for now (exploring the options at this stage) is anyone
interested in offering something interesting to a British blacksmith with a
masters in design from the Royal College of Art? Might be best to contact me
off list if you'd like to discuss it further.
Cheers,
Rich M.
