I have a Little Giant 25lber that works great for me. But I bought
it "back when" for $600. If I had to pay $1500 for a hammer that
needed work I would take a look at how much it would cost to buy
an air compressor and build a 40-50lb air hammer ala Kinyon.
Probably less than $1500 and probably a better hammer.
