[TheForge] forging copper?

Rob or James or anyone else,

Do you know if copper water pipe has beryllim in it? I made a lamp
stand out of the flexible stuff, tig welded it together with copper
wire, ground it all smooth, and have thus far failed to expire.  Is
beryllium the difference between rigid tubing and flexible? Did I get
lucky? Will I keel over at thanksgiving dinner to the horror of my
family and guests?
