It depends on what application you have in mind......10pts carbon offers
very little in the way of hardness potential compared to steels of 40pts and
more. Even with cryogenic treatments, you wont get HC performance from LC
steel. Grant

Does anyone know offhand if structural steel (2010? basic hot rolled) can
be cryohardened with LN2? The pieces are too thin to heat and superquench.
