Rick, you're right, TIG is the way to go. You can use regular old
single-strand home wire (stripped, of course) as rod, and it flows
nicely. I don't think you can buy copper stick, and I doubt you can get
copper wire to run through a mig gun, even a spool. I haven't tried
doing it with gas, but it's likely your best bet failing TIG.
