Dan, Check the pulleys on your mower where the belts ride ..........did they
get corroded during the winter months when the machine sat in storage
waiting for the next season?
If so, the rust and pitting on the pulleys will act like sandpaper and you
can't keep them tight as they keep sanding down the insides while running.
I took a die grinder with scotchbrite pads to mine - solved the problem.
If it ain't rough and pitted pulleys.........I guess I don't know what the
problem is - but it was my problem in storing the attachment under a tarp
for a winter.
