I am certainly not defending everything abana does. But I do vote, and 
I try to get to know most of the board members- it aint hard if you go 
to the Conferences- they are all there, and you can sit down and eat 
with em, or grab em and give em a piece of your mind- they are just 
blacksmiths- no secret service agents or press flaks to keep you away.
Some of em I like, some I dont.
Last ballot, a few weeks ago, I knew personally most of the candidates, 
not well, but have seen em, and gotten a handle on what kind of person 
they are.

The whole NWBA vs Kagele vs Abana thing is just plain stupid- and I am 
not defending any of the scrappers. I dont know the whole story, but 
the bits I have heard remind me of children fighting- I am constantly 
telling my kids, it doesnt matter who is "righter" just shut up and do 
what you should be doing.

I feel bad that the conference will not be as good as it could cause of 
this stupid fight.

And I also would like to see more of it discussed out in the open.
