Hey All,
A couple weeks ago I asked about making baskets, as it was my first time
and was a little frustrated that they didn't come out looking like the
store bought ones.  Well all your suggestions paid off.  I made several
and chose the two that looked the most alike.  Then I clamped one end in
the vise and straightened each part and tweaked the individual rods (I
used 6, 3/16" round rods) while cold.  Yesterday I delivered the finished
product (pulls for Sub-Zero refrigerator) to my client and she went crazy
with excitement.  I was a little worried because she can be difficult to
please.
