[TheForge] Input wanted

Me again.
I searched back through past posts and found the original thread and a pic
of a wood cut. The cooking setup being discussed wasn't a tripod/spit, it
was an "A" frame.
We were discussing the stability of "A" frames and potential trip hazards
with several people around it. A suggestion was made for using bi-pods
stabilized by the spit through spring tension and I had a visualization at
the time. A stable free standing cooking "A" frame being desirable as
there's no telling what kind of surface it'll be set up on so spiking it
down may not always be possible.
I'll have to rethink the thing and see if I can track down my original
thoughts. No small feat seeing as how fast my head spins. <grin>
