Yes, standards are only standards when people follow them<G>. However, when
someone installs a plug on the vehicle which is incorrect, that problem
should be corrected instead of a gender changer. Only software fellas (I
count as one on Mondays and Thursdays<G>) consider that a valid option.
Sort of like throwing down a nail and selecting another because the head is
on the wrong end<G>.
Then there's the politics of who gets to tell the fella that owns the truck
that the connector that he has successfully used for the last 10 years is
patently WRONG<G>. Ahh politics and getting along in a civilized world. I
like cats. Gone are the days of Bowie knives. When civilized behavior,
actually was<G>. In a world of teeth and claws, civilization takes on it's
own meaning, or the fur flies<G>. Have a new kitten in the house, kitty
posturing and land (read that as a particular place in the bed or upon the
chest of the owner) ownership is fluid at this time. It is good to see the
27 pound Maine Coon move back and let the kitten of 3 pounds have first
dibbs at food. Respect and care of the children is good.
All the best.
By the way, Happy Holidays to all!!
