I used to work with some of the cold fusion guys when I was working  
at SRI International. It always seemed like hocus pocus, but it  
doesn't seem to die, they are still pursuing it. I wish them luck it  
would be a great boon to mankind if we really could produce energy  
that way. Although so far it only seems to be a career killer if you  
talk about it at serious scientific gatherings.
