Mike, 

Your rivit forge looks good in the photos. You made a good find.  Might sell 
good dollars on eBay as a shop orniment. 

I used a similar one, for a couple  days about 15 years ago. That one had a 
wooden handle connected to the ratchet.  The leather belt was about worn out 
and kept slipping, so I had a new leather belt made.  After it had the new 
belt, the ratchet part gave me fits. 

I learned about the prices of Little Giants after the same man sold his GOOD 
25# hammer for $75.  That hammer rode half way across the USA.. from Iowa to 
East Coast in the back of little Chevy LUV pickup.
