Go figure! When I worked in New Jersey my pay check was exactly twice what I
make now. While in New York it was $2 higher. Funny thing the company I work
for home office is in New York! Way I figure, I pay $1.95 for gas New Yorker
should
pay close to $4.00. They claim the higher cost of living as the reason for
the difference.
Then again while I was there I used mass transit, which is supported by tax
dollars
( the federal tax dollars I pay?). That's another story in itsself,eh?
Oh,did I mention the oil refinery with in sight of the facility I work in?
Their gas is the highest
brand in the area. Explaination being the are forced to charge more in order
to prevent charges
of unfair advantage. Like you say go figure-

Seems to me they pee on your leg and tell you it raining. Truth is they
gouge all the market can bear.
When it gets to the point you stop buying they'll cut the price enough to
get your business back. I've
seen 35 cent swing in price in a three day period. One station goes up and
the others don't - he'll come
back down. He'll go back up and the others follow - price stays up.

I guess that's what makes free enterprise a great thing. Went to an antique
sale, table $145 - says he could
take $135 if that would help me out. Niece buys table for $110 ( she's a
dealer). She sell table in her shop
for $295 a week later. What made the value of the table go up? She says
overhead. Rent,power,3 % surcharge
for credit charge, etc. Like you say go figure-

nuff of my rambling uh?
