[TheForge] Air compressor question

I recommend straight 30 weight non-detergent motor oil. The non-detergent
is important and becoming increasingly hard to find. The reason for the
non-detergent as I understand it is that the detergent oils pick up water
from the air and retain it in the oil. I tried a detergent oil in mine and
got a milk colored oil on the sight glass. Didn't like the looks of that in
my compressor so took Dan Tull advice and went to 30 weight non-detergent.
Your farm supply place should have that.
