[TheForge] Wrist problem

Well, I too now have a wrist problem. I have a Kohler engine mounted high
on my Little Giant. About a week ago when it was cold and the oil was
thick, I tried to start that engine using a knotted rope. About the 5-6th
pull, I was getting tired and because the rope is just a bit too long, I
whacked my wrist on the grinder behind me. Hurt like the dickens but I
thought it was mostly a glancing blow. I went ahead and did some work and
didn't have any real problems. It never swelled and the pain was
diminishing.

During the week, I found that if I torque'd my wrist, it hurt. Tonight, as
I was teaching a small BS class, I found out it now hurts with every hammer
blow. Guess I may have cracked it. I've got a doctor appointment next week
so I'll talk to him then. I guess it's the old "... if it hurts - don't do
it" rule. No more hammering until then.

Oh well, I still have 6-8 loads of horse manure to put in my spreader and on
the fields. That I can do with an elastic brace.
