I don't think so; the pipe idea with a pc of 3/8" square bar the length of
the handle riveted in a couple places might work- maybe a piece of knarled
bamboo with a ferel, but I like the idea of a scrolled hook on the end to
hang it on a peg.

throughbolt to hold on a nice wooden handle?
