My forge is connected to a 500 gal tank that also supplies my house and 
shop heat. So I've never really known how much propane my forge uses. 
It's a pretty common 3/4" pipe atmospheric burner.

Any guess how much fuel it uses? I usually run it at about 12 psi. The 
hole is #57 drill if I remember right.

I have always felt that the fuel cost was not worth considering (if I 
am selling my work) but maybe I am wrong?
