[TheForge] Fly press question

[James Binnion]

I have the opportunity to get a fly press that has a  finer pitch 
thread (2.25 tpi) than the ones from old world anvils. Any pros or 
cons to his finer pitch? I am wondering how this affects its use. I 
would think it would give higher pressure but slower advance of 
course. Any info on this would be helpful.
