Personally, I have had good luck with all Bosch products. A little more 
expensive, but worth it in the long run. I also think Makita cordless 
drills are very good- they have been making them a long time. I have 
had makita cordless drills last 20 years, and fall off of ladders 
multiple times. Both Bosch and Makita have factories in the US, and 
many, but not all, of their power tools are made here. I dont think any 
Dewalts are made domestically.
Whatever brand you buy, buy the best one you can. That is, not the 
bottom of the line. An extra 40 bucks now doesnt cost much when you 
amortize it out over 5 years or so.
