[TheForge] Hand Doctors

[Jerry Smith]

         I saw the hand doctor today and he recommend that I be evaluated 
by the hand surgeon. I was a computer person of sort in the past, so I had 
problem now and then. When I retired I became a full time metal pounder. 
Which has cause me to have both elbows rebuilt and then some retraining. 
Every doctor has told me that my muscles are stronger than my bones, so I 
got a power hammer to do some of my work, but I do fine jewelry by hand and 
still have to strike the metal manually once in a while. So I have probably 
wore the cartilage in my wrist out. Maybe carpel tunnel, so I will see the 
doctors listen to them and decide from there what to do.
         The real big bummer is that I have trouble driving, and my two 
home are 12 hours or so apart. Trying to move the family back and forth 
with the seasons just isn't happening this year.
         So if I owe anybody anything at the moment, it will get shipped 
when I can get it to the post office or UPS or DHL
